PLANIMETER (“PLANIMETER,”, ”smart-statistics.com” “we,” “our,” and “us” refers to PLANIMETER Kft. (Vaci út 95, Budapest, Hungary) is committed to respecting the privacy of individuals and complies with EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 and all the applicable national and European laws, regarding the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.
To protect your privacy, we provide this data privacy notice, which sets out the basis upon which PLANIMETER as a Data Controller, will collect, store and use information relating to you and explains the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.
Collection and use of personal information
We collect the personal information that you provide voluntarily to us when you submit an inquiry/contact form on our website or correspond with us by e-mail, which may include your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, job title and company you work for, in order to communicate with you and respond to your requests for customized information about our services.
In case you are interested in pursuing an employment opportunity with PLANIMETER, you will be also requested to provide us your CV either through the “submit CV” form on our website or directly to the competent PLANIMETER email address in order to examine your candidacy for possible employment as well as to contact you about it. Your personal information is not used for other purposes, unless we obtain your permission, or unless otherwise required or permitted by law.
We do not use automated decisions processes based on the information we have from you. Your Personal Data is processed subject to your consent, where required, and Planimeter’s legitimate interest.
Recipients of your Data
PLANIMETER warrants that access to your personal data is granted only to the absolutely necessary Planimeter staff and that your personal data shall not be transmitted to third parties for any purpose or use.
We keep your personal data you provided to us to respond to your requests for customized information about our services for as long as it is required to fulfil the purpose for which you provided them.
As regards the biographical data (name, contact details, CV) you submit through email or through the online form to apply for a job, they shall be kept for 2 (two) years for consideration for future employment opportunities within Planimeter. At the end of that period, or once you withdraw your consent for keeping your personal data as described below, your personal data will be deleted or destroyed.
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost or used in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those Planimeter employees who have a business need to know and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.
You have the following rights in respect of the personal data we keep about you:
- You may request access and information about your personal data stored.
- If any of your personal data are incorrect or incomplete, you may request for them to be corrected or supplemented.
- You may request your data to be erased if they are no longer necessary for the above purposes of processing or if you wish to withdraw your consent in cases where it is the sole legal basis.
- You may ask for the restriction of the use of your personal data.
- You may object to your personal data being processed.
- You may ask for your data to be transferred in a commonly used electronic format to you or to another Data Controller, where technically feasible. If you have provided to Planimeter your consent for the processing of your personal data you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time, which will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before your consent was withdrawn.
